    • Fundamentals: Build a solid foundation in basic handgun skills, marksmanship, and firearm manipulation.
    • Advanced skills: Practice shooting while moving, shooting under physical and mental stress, and engaging targets quickly and accurately.
    • Tactical scenarios: Participate in drills that simulate high-stress situations, such as those on an assault course, to improve decision-making and reaction time.
  • Defensive focus: Courses are often oriented toward personal and home defense, with some including specialized training like concealed carry or wilderness survival.
  • Teamwork: Some advanced courses teach how to operate as a team, focusing on communication and coordinated movement during engagements.
